The Mine
There is a mine under this city.
More than a thousand feet beneath Detroit, a hundred miles of tunnels run through salt laid down 400 million years ago. Halite is the rock they pull out of that dark. This city has been mining it for over a century, and most people living above it have no idea it is there.
That is the name on the bag. Detroit Halite treats coffee the way this city treats what is under it: found deep, brought up whole, and worked with intent. Every coffee we roast is East African, from the highlands where coffee was born. The rare thing, raised from the dark.

The Drop
The Drop: Motor, Woodward, Sankofa. When it is gone, it is gone.
The current Detroit Halite lineup, roasted to order. Sankofa rotates through East Africa one great lot at a time, and each lot retires when it sells through.
